When I come to Vegas, this spot is one of my MUST to go eat place. More like home cook meals and very family oriented place. Unlike LA California restaurants, authentic taste and old fashion.

A korean restaurant that isn't just Korean BBQ with 4.5 stars? I was so excited to try this place thinking it could contend against my favorite Soyo, it did not.
Setting: We walked in at about 330pm on a weekday to find the restaurant empty and the workers were putting together mandu which was pretty neat to see. It definitely feels like the restaurants I went to in Korea where the older ladies casually chat and make food in the dining area.
Service: The server was pleasant and brought out everything promptly
Food: *This is just on the Yuk Gae Jang* Yuk gae jang is one of my favorite comfy dishes to enjoy whether its really cold outside, or i'm hungover (hint I was hungover). The first thing I want is something hot, spicy, and filling. I was a bit surprised to see how quickly they made the yuk gae jang and not in the stone bowl i'm used to seeing it brought out making it extra hot. The broth was an utter disappointment, reminding me of a seasoning packet from instant shin ramen. I left feeling so disappointed that I actually had to eat somewhere else to bring my spirits up.
Overall: The restaurant seems to have a variety of more traditional Korean dishes, but the yuk gae jang literally left a bad taste in my mouth to where i'm not curious to come back to see what else is there. -

I had the tofu soup and it was only okay. The food was below average and the service was not the best. The side dishes were good but nothing special. The soup itself lacked flavour and didn't taste like much even tho I got regular spicy level. We got some side dishes refilled once and when I wanted to refill again, the lady just came over and handed us the bill before I got a chance to say anything. It was very evident that we were still eating (I still had half my bowl of soup and rice left) so I wasn't a fan of that. Most likely will not be back.

Ever since that rat bastard, Mr. Tofu, walked out of my life and with it my favorite soondubu in the city, I've been a little lost in life. I ended up casually seeing other ones ....hoping (PRAYING) that they would be my new steady, but it never worked out. The search has finally ended and I am ready to get down on one knee and make it official with Kkulmat Korean Kitchen. Essentially a one woman show, the sweet lady everyone considers their long lost Korean aunt, bring the delicious 6 days a week with her brand of homemade Korean food that is simply awesome.
$10.81 gets me an excellent, lip-smacking soondubu with my choice of beef or seafood, a win either way, that comes with an array of delicious banchan and purple rice, which somehow makes me feel more special. It's usually busy for lunch, but I can scarf it all down and be out of there in 30 minutes and that makes it a terrific quick escape from the doldrums of the weekday. I can't wait to go with a group and feast on some of the larger stews! -

Location - Chinatown just like most Asian restaurants in Vegas.
Parking - the restaurant is located in a strip mall next to a couple of Chinese restaurants and one of them gets busy. At one point, a tour bus was parked in the lot.
Price - $$
Food - love the made order ginseng soup and don't skip on the homemade dumplings.
